burnout in tech is real
Survive toxic workplaces. Rebuild your humanity.
Burnout in tech is real, it's overwhelming, and it's the result of a broken system, not a broken person. With Not Working in Tech, you'll connect to a community of peers, experts, and resources that will empower you to use your benefits, improve your working life in tech, or find your way out of it. We offer personalized consulting to manage crisis moments, address the underlying causes of burnout, and set boundaries necessary for a healthy balance. NWiT is a community platform meant to spark candid conversations about the challenges of working in the tech industry. Not Working in Tech is for current or former employees and leaders in the tech industry, as well as their family, friends, and adjacent fields interested in learning about these problems and solutions. It’s for those who have been burned, are burnt out, are struggling with an improvement plan, or don’t know how they are going to wake up and get through one more day in their tech job. It’s for those who want to leave and those who want to stay. It’s also for tech employees looking for validation, community, understanding, boundaries, and resources related to what’s not working in tech.

No, NWiT is not a medical or therapy related platform. We do not give medical advice and none of our resources should be used to replace a healthcare professional. Please consult your doctor instead for any physical or mental health issues you might be experiencing.
